The pair take to the three rounds against bakery pair Tony and Vincent. First making a terracotta pot, and then going on to make a plant-based carrot cake, they defy the odds and impress the judges.

In the second round, they make a smoking crystal ball, with dark chocolate fudge brownie, coffee ice cream, and cinnamon chips for the smoke effect. Their special ingredient is coffee beans.

For the ultimate round, they truly showcase their talents by creating a dark chocolate spice cake with a magician theme, with dark chocolate buttercream and strawberry compote.

And without further ado – spoiler alert – Tom and Caty are announced the winners, with two votes against one. Their cake was voted the best by judge Candace Nelson and guest judge Justin Willman (magician).
