Will Ferrell brought the house down at the University of Southern California, taking over the DJ booth at a fraternity party in a scene reminiscent of his 2003 hit movie, “Old School.”
The beloved actor was captured on video, thanks to TikTok, hyping up the crowd with tracks like Jay-Z and Kanye West’s “N****s in Paris” and Survivor’s iconic “Eye of the Tiger.”
Ferrell was the DJ at a Sigma Alpha Mu fraternity tailgate bash, held in anticipation of the USC Trojans’ football game against the University of Arizona Wildcats during Trojan Family Weekend.
This event might remind some of “Old School,” where Ferrell’s character aimed to relive his college days, the actor wasn’t trying to recapture his former glory.
He returned to USC, his alma mater, for Family Weekend because his eldest child, Magnus, is a sophomore there. Ferrell himself graduated from USC in 1990, earning a bachelor’s degree in sports information.

In 2017, Ferrell delivered the commencement speech at USC, and the following year, he and his wife, Viveca Paulin, contributed to the funding of the first-ever full scholarship for the women’s soccer team at the university.
